Finding the Right Journal

It's important to shop for the right journal. Sometimes it takes some time to find the right one for you. You may need to look around a bit, either online or offline at your local shops. I would advise you to be patient, and keep looking, because almost any type of notebook can be turned into a journal, if you don't mind using a journal with a softcover and pages that can be torn out. If, however, you are looking for blank books, then I would look at bookstores, drug stores (especially in the stationery section), some stationery stores, or any store that specializes in selling books and paper goods. I know that I like smaller blank books that have nice designs on them. I don't want something that is too serious or too silly, and I don't like blank books that have quotes or other writing in them already. I usually just like blank books that have lines, they are ruled, and have a nice-looking cover, something that I enjoy looking at. That usually works for me. In the past, I have purchased blank books that already included quoatations in them, and liked them, I generally prefer that they not have them, as I want to use the room on the pages for my own writing, rather than reading what someone else has already written.
