Put pictures in it of you and your loved one and even the baby's grandparents so that when the child is older he/she can look back to see what this time was like for everyone. A baby journal is a great place to write all your memories, and even your hopes and dreams for your child. Record the growth your child's growth. You can include everything from photos and the birth certificate to stories about first laugh, first words, and first steps. Keep a journal for the first year or get one that spans several years.
